Guide for Submitting Papers and Scientific Reports
Notice to those interested in participating in the 18th Iranian Statistical Conference: The following points must be considered when preparing the full paper:
The paper must necessarily contain new findings and should not have been published in any journals, books, conferences, or online platforms. If the paper has been accepted or submitted for publication by a reputable scientific journal within the last year, it can only be presented as a lecture or poster.
A scientific report must contain novel analyses of statistical projects and executive activities.
The corresponding author of each study will be designated as the presenter.
Each person, as the corresponding author, is allowed to submit at most one paper (co-authorship in several papers is permitted).
The LaTeX file of the full paper or scientific report, along with two PDF copies (one with author names and details, and one without), as well as the Persian (and English) abstract files, must be submitted only through the conference website by the specified deadline. The paper submission process is complete only after all required files have been uploaded.
Authors must revise their papers according to the reviewers’ comments after the review process.
Only papers whose corresponding authors have registered and paid the fee on the website will be included in the conference schedule.
Acceptance of a paper for poster, lecture, or inclusion in the proceedings is subject to approval by the conference’s Scientific Committee. Publication of papers printed in the proceedings in scientific journals after the conference is permitted.
Accepted papers will be selected based on scientific content and, if the authors wish, will be sent to scientific journals of the Iranian Statistical Society for the review process.
By submitting a paper, all authors attest to the originality and accuracy of the results and confirm that ethical research principles have been followed. Submitting a paper also implies that all authors agree to the submission to this conference.
Researchers whose papers are accepted for lecture must prepare a presentation file for a 15-minute talk.
Researchers whose papers are accepted as posters must prepare the poster in the designated format.
The paper structure, as well as the lecture and poster templates in LaTeX format, will be available for download on the conference website.
